UI/UX Design

Interfaces people understand the first time.

Overview

Good design is not decoration. It is the difference between a parent finding the admissions form in ten seconds and giving up, or a staff member completing a task correctly without being trained on it twice.

We design interfaces around what people are actually trying to do. That starts with understanding your users — which for most of our clients means people in a hurry, on a phone, who will not read instructions.

The work moves from structure to surface: user journeys, then wireframes, then visual design, then a system of reusable components so the product stays consistent as it grows.

Technologies we use

  • Figma
  • Design tokens
  • Interactive prototyping
  • WCAG 2.2 AA guidelines

We list only what we actually work with. If your project needs something outside this, we will tell you rather than learn on your budget.

What's included

Key features

What you get as part of ui/ux design work with us.

  • User research and discovery

Understanding who uses the product and what they are trying to accomplish, before any screen gets designed.

  • Wireframes and prototypes

Clickable prototypes that let you test how something works before committing to building it.

  • Design systems

Reusable components, type scales, and colour rules that keep every future page consistent without redesigning from scratch.

  • Accessibility review

Contrast, focus states, touch target sizes, and keyboard paths checked as part of design, targeting WCAG AA.

  • Startups

Early-stage companies that need to establish trust quickly, move fast, and avoid building things they will have to throw away.

    View sector
  • Schools

Schools that need one site to serve prospective parents, current families, students, and staff — updated by people whose actual job is teaching.

    View sector
  • Hospitals

Hospitals and clinics where accurate, accessible information is not a convenience — it is part of patient care.

    View sector
  • Government Agencies

Agencies serving citizens across every level of connectivity, device, and ability — where accessibility and accuracy are obligations, not preferences.

Questions

UI/UX Design — common questions

More questions are answered on our FAQ page.

Yes. We deliver design files, a documented component system, and specifications that your own developers or another agency can build from.

We agree a specific number in the proposal before design starts, so neither side is guessing. Open-ended revisions tend to hurt the client more than the agency, because they stretch timelines without improving the outcome.

Often. We start by reviewing the current interface and identifying where users are actually getting stuck, so the redesign fixes real problems rather than just refreshing the appearance.

Concretely: text that meets contrast minimums, every interactive element reachable and visible by keyboard, form fields with real labels, and layouts that survive being zoomed or read by a screen reader. We target WCAG 2.2 AA.
